Workbench - Asuka (huge scale)

An update  \(^o^)/

Finished cleaning all the parts.  The most of the cleaning was on Asuka's hair (19 parts total).
Most of the hair pieces had expected amount of work, but there was a couple that were a small nightmare :D

 

Ta-da   All the parts are cleaned and ready for some paint :D

Painted the base color on the hair. 
You can see how many pieces it was compare to the rest of the body   (^_^;)

Its a little bit hard to see, but the hair are more golden brown then orange.

This was my first time doing real stockings.  I think it turned out pretty good (I just need some more practice).

Workbench - Asuka (huge scale)

Say "hello" to Asuka.
Another girl from Eva and she is as big as Rei kit too.

 

The casting is not perfect.  I found bunch of small bubble holes that I had to repair (plus some that were already repaired by casting workshop  >_< )

 

 The fit is actually pretty good.  I still had to use putty on some of the joints, but that mostly because it would bug me if I don't do it properly :D

 

 

My small army of Sailor Scouts

I just received a "small" parcel in the mail with an army. 
The SD Sailor scouts in their "small" glory :D

 

 

And the best thing is that they are all mine :D

Workbench - Black Canary

A quick update on Black Canary.

Workbench - Black Canary

Another new project.

This is a modified kit of Black Canary.

The kit came in all primed, but for my disappointment, it wasn't ready to paint  (^_^;)
Her elbow was broken and she had lots of scratch marks all over her body.  Plus I was asked to give her some cloth stockings, so I had to modify her even more.


The first clean up.

 

I decided to cut off her boots for easier access and build-up of stockings, and her right hand off too.

Attached the right arm and fixed the left elbow.

 

And here is some more clean up :D

 

 

Next step is painting (hopefully :D)
