Selvaria Bles

A
nother small update on Selvaria kit.
I spend some time painting those straight gold lines on her stockings.  It turned out pretty good :-)

For her skin, I was asked to make it as pale as possible.  I believe this is the lightest I've ever done.  She looks almost porcelain.

I used satin finish on her outfit.  the piece on the left is sprayed with flat finish, the one of the right is satin.  Not too much difference, just a little bit more shinny.

 Small preview

My Sakura couple

I call those guys "Sakura couple"since I don't know their names or where they came from.  Both of them have a very nice sakura shaped bases.  Hence is the name :-)

the parts came  in as colored resin, but not as well divided as BOME's charagumins.  The blue resin was horrible to work on.  Super hard with lots of bubbles.  The rest of the colors were more or less OK.

I glued the skirt before I painted it.

 Let the painting start ;-)

Both of those kits come with decals, but they were very bad quality.  I've done decals before and I think I know on what I am doing.  In this instance, the decals were too thick and ink was washing off.
I had to paint all the eyes by hand.

Huntress

This is a commission piece of Huntress, sculpted by Chris Gabrish.  She is 1/6 scale and made out of weird material that feels almost like cold cast (but it does say its resin :-D )
Lots of holes and uneven surfaces.
I do love the base :-)

The box came in a little damaged.  Lucky, it didn't effect anything inside.

 Some pictures of unpainted figure

First priming :-)

 First layers of paint

Did I mention that I really like the base :-)
I used spray can of grey paint with speckles as a base color.  Saved me a lot of time.
