Workbench - Bayonetta

 Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone :D

After a very amazing dinner on Thanksgiving, the following day I had a chance to work on Bayonetta.
I painted the inside of her suit with metallic silver and shaded with black ink.

And followed up with metallic black.
Its kind of hard to see the difference between colors on the picture, but trust me its different shades of dark :D

This one is taken with flash.

Workbench - SD Gwendoline

About a week ago, I got this SD pinky kit of Gwendoline from Odin's Sphere and its been teasing me for some reason.  I just had to work on her (even for a little bit).
For such a small size kit, she have astonishing amount of parts (27) and the best part is that she needed almost no prepping :D

Some painted parts.

And the base (it came with the kit).
I am not sure when I will be able to work on her again, since I do have lots of commissions right now on my table, but it was very nice to do something just for me :D

Workbench - Miku

Another new project on my bench is this little cutey Miku.  And I do mean little :D  , since she is smaller 1/8 scale size.  Her head is the size of my thumb.
Originally she have green hair and base, but I was asked to modify it to purple.
This kit have lots of clear parts, which will be lots of fun to paint.  The only problem is that most of the clear parts have pretty bad (but not horrible) seam lines.  Good thing is that I know how to fix it :D

I actually started to paint her already, but the only pics of progress I have is of her skin.
I promise to update soon.
Some update on one of my new-er projects.
This is an Ivy kit from Soul Series games (never played it :D).

I had to remove her bra and underwear and make a new one removable with magnets.
This is a quick preview on how her body looks.

And of course the removable parts :D

I was asked to make Ivy's skin a little bit more tan then my usual skin tone.  Here is the result
 Skin and painted underwear.

Just for comparison, here is the head with my usual skin tone against Ivy's bronze skin.

Workbench - Bayonetta

Attached the legs on Bayonetta.  First I was going to leave them separate, since I have to ship it to a customer, but decided against it.  It took me some time to clean the seam lines where the legs connect.  I know that if would have driven me nuts to see it :D

Unexpected purchase :D

Last couple of days were very hectic for me.  Too many things to do and not enough time (or sleep :D).  So when I went to Walgreen's to pick up some medication I was very surprised to find this little cuties (the last possible place for kits )
This is just a Paint it yourself kit from Disney collection, but they look so adorable that I just couldn't pass them, plus they were only $13.98 for all three boxes.

Its not resin and not even cold cast or ceramic.  Its very very light and breaks very easy.  But they have a very good amount of details on them.  I have to think of something to make them more durable, hopefully primer and sealing will help with this.
Now I just have to find some time to work on them.

P.S.  I wish they have Lilo and Stitch too
