Kanu girl is done.

I am finally done with this lady.  She looks so much better in person then on the pictures.  I really need to figure out my photo skills  >_<

This girl is taking my time :D
I had to repaint few items to get it perfect, so hopefully the end result will be amazing.

 Just her weapon left to finish.  The stick for it is very tricky O_o

Workbench - Kanu

Couple of years ago, I already worked on this version of Kanu.  The one big difference is that one was resin and this is colored resin with a lot more parts :-D (if you are wondering, I prefer this version )

 It was such a pleasure cleaning this kit up (almost no cleaning needed) and fitting is a dream.  Painting parts is a breeze, since almost no masking is needed.  This project is moving along a lot faster then I was anticipating.

And painting begins :D

First the gold layer with some washes

 Clear red (water based paint).  Before sealing this layer, I took a Q-tip with Windex on it and rubbed red paint off from gold edges.  Saves so much time :-D

Ryoufu Housen finished

I finally recieved a base for Ryoufu, so here is the complete photos.

Workbench - Ryoufu Housen

Had some time to work on Ryoufu.
For her shirt, we decided that it should look like its made from silk and have a oriental design on the back.

I had to edit my post a little bit, since some people were asking me about the design on the shirt :D

I did paint the design all free hand. Its the same design that I used on the fan on Mai from King of Fighters ( http://annyasworkshop.blogspot.com/2008/06/mai-from-king-of-fighters.html ).

First I painted metallic white on the shirt to make it look like silk. Then I added black outline of tree branches and after that finished it up with clear red (same red that I used for her bikini) for flowers. Its a very easy design that looks good without being too complicated :D
