Workbench - Amazon

All of the prep work is done and its time to paint :D

First is the base skin color.

Next is airbrush shading with some pastel shading

And the final step on the skin is Satin top coat with a little bit of pearl shine to it.  I needed to make her skin look a little wet :D

Here is a small preview.

Wings for a fairy

I needed some wings for Wings of Reflection elf, so I had to get creative and make a set :D

I took in-progress pics while I was doing it, so I might as well to post it here.  Maybe somebody will find it usefull.

First I printed out a picture of wings for design.

Next I took some thin clear plastic and traced the outline of the wings on it.

 Cut out the shapes
Next I painted the inside design with some glossy black acrylic paint.

And to finish it up, I used PearlEx Interference powder mixed with Future Floor finish to give wings some nice shine and color.

Ta-da :D

I hope this is helpful

Workbench - Wings of Reflection

Long time ago, I got a vinyl kit based on this amazing artwork

I worked on it for a while without finishing, but now I got another chance to work on it again.
This piece is a commission kit, so it will be finished soon for sure :P

This girl was already painted once, but my client didn't like how she looked, so here I come in.
Some pictures of how she looked when I got her:

This is how she looked after some soap and warm water :D
She will need some putty work on her knees and around her waist (have to cover those weird stomach holes O_o )

After the putty work and couple layers of primer.  Still needs lots of work :D

Workbench - Amazon

I got this beautiful Sorayama's Amazon sculpt on my table right now.
This is one of the coolest kits that I've seen and she was on my wish list for a while now.  Its a commission piece, but at least I get to work on her :D

Most of the cast is pretty good.  Just some seam lines and tabs on her body, but her her weapon is a little different story.  Since the weapon pieces are very thin, they have lots of big bubbles that need to be taken care first.

Workbench - Shinobu

Just a small update on Shinobu.
She is almost done, but I forgot to take the progress pics.  Sorry :(

Here is what I have:

Dress is painted pink (flash and no flash pics)

And the picture of her hair.
I painted yellow first and added some pink highlights

Now I just need to put her all together (the donuts are giving me a headache, since there is no instructions on placement).
